Here’s my thoughts
Pull up your favourite chair, adjust your slightly over-priced fandom hoodie, and prepare yourself for a brisk little ramble through my most recent unboxing marathon.
I am reporting live(ish) from a table absolutely buried beneath plush collectibles, factory sealed TCG booster packs, and the faint smell of cardboard ink that only die-hard collectors recognise as perfume.
This is my story of unboxing three gloriously geeky treasures:
• the Funko Rick and Morty 6″ Plush Collectible Soft Toy – Galactic Plushies Morty Jr,
• the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (TCG) OPUS VI Booster Packs (English Edition),
• and the wonderfully absurd Bogies battle cards, those rare, non-sport trading cards that somehow worm their way into your heart like a 90s cartoon on a Saturday morning.
1. “Unveiling the Curator’s Collectable Chaos”
Now that the mundanes have wandered off, let’s begin our descent.
The Morty Jr Plush – My New Squishy Sidekick
The first thing I unboxed was the Morty Jr plush, a 6-inch Rick and Morty collectible soft toy, brand new with tags, straight from the Funko Galactic Plushies line.
And yes, I absolutely squeezed it immediately. Scientific reasons. Research ethics. All very serious.

still anxious about posting real pictures of myself – but unboxing was
–> kind of fun
What surprised me most was the stitching quality—tight, neat, and far superior to the “cheap and cheerful” plushies you sometimes find online. This one feels like a proper collectible: the sort of item a Rick and Morty fan would proudly perch on a bookshelf beside a portal gun replica.
As someone who has handled a questionable number of plush toys in my life, I can confidently say this one ticks every box:
softness, squish factor, durability, and that faintly chaotic expression that all Galactic Plushies possess, as if they know something you don’t.
If you are a collector of brand new, unopened collectible soft toys, this one is a safe and delightful bet. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Final Fantasy TCG OPUS VI – A Collector’s Dream in Foil Form
Next came the proper adrenaline hit:
a glorious row of Final Fantasy Trading Card Game TCG OPUS VI Booster Packs (English Edition)—all brand new, all factory sealed, each containing 12 cards.
Nothing beats the sound of peeling open a foil booster.
Nothing.
These OPUS VI packs are, in collector terms, exactly what you want:
• fully sealed,
• UK supplied (fast dispatch, naturally),
• and part of a set known for rare pulls and stunning artwork.
Whether you’re chasing shiny cards, building competitive decks, or – like me – adding to an ever-expanding binder of “curated treasures”, OPUS VI remains one of the strongest sets for both newcomers and seasoned collectors.
I’ve opened many TCG packs over the years, but these felt particularly good. The artwork is crisp, the card quality is solid, and the sense of possibility with each pack is intoxicating.
If you’re searching for factory sealed TCG booster packs UK, Final Fantasy OPUS VI booster packs, or simply new unopened trading cards, these deserve a place in your haul.

here’s another – lolz
The Bogies – The Oddballs of the Trading Card Universe
Finally, the wildcard: The Bogies.
If you’re unfamiliar, these are a wonderfully bizarre set of non-sport trading cards, a parody-driven, humour-soaked franchise that sits somewhere between children’s chaos and adult nostalgia. Think early 2000s Cartoon Network energy. Think mild chaos in card form.
I opened a bundle of Bogies battle cards, and to my delight, the artwork remains gloriously weird. Bright colours. Exaggerated features. A sense of silliness that never quite tips into nonsense.
Collectors often overlook this franchise, but don’t. These cards are:
• rare,
• brand new,
• great for display,
• and, surprisingly, rising in collectable value.
They’re exactly the sort of thing The Curator collects: a little strange, a little niche, but absolutely full of charm.
If you’re browsing for collectable fantasy trading cards, or new unopened non-sport trading cards, these are a proper treat.
2. “Why The Curator Recommends These Collectables”
And now, a word from the academic corner of my brain.
I recommend these products for one simple reason: they’re good.
Not “internet good”.
Not “bargain bin good”.
Genuinely good.
The Morty Jr plush is high-quality, well-made, and ideal for fans of Rick and Morty plushies and Funko Galactic Plushies.
The Final Fantasy TCG OPUS VI booster packs remain one of the most exciting sets for collectors, especially if you want English edition, factory sealed items that ship from a UK source.
And The Bogies?
A perfect reminder that collecting should also be fun.
Unpredictable.
Slightly unhinged.
The way fandom ought to be.
All three items sit firmly within what I consider “Curator-Approved Collectables” – products that offer genuine value, authenticity, and a warm dose of fandom joy.
Cheerio, and happy collecting.
May your pulls be rare, your plushies be soft, and your shelves remain ever so slightly overcrowded.
